The owner, Brian B., told us repeatedly that we had a 1-year warranty if there were any problems after the work was completed. From the time the work was finished, there was a problem with the gutter that I asked him to fix, and he never did. For the past few months we have now had problems with the siding installation, which is buckling and bowing, and not only has he not fixed it - "I'll send a guy on Thursday" and no one shows up - but now he refuses to return my calls. Essentially, he is trying to run out the clock on my 1-year warranty.
Lesson seems to be, if you work with Rainbow of Branford, make sure you watch every step of the process, and don't sign off until every last piece is finished to spec, because they won't come back to fix anything that's wrong.
Although we did like the finished product, we had to watch the workers like hawks or else they would cut corners and/or disregard instructions. They tried, for example, to put up the siding on our house without putting the house wrap on first, and we were forced to make them take it down and start over.
