Amity Physical Therapy charged me $168 per visit because I was going there with a 'promise to pay' letter.... when I finally asked for a bill (which they never offered to inform me of my bill or the price of my visits), I found out that I owed almost $5000. They then told me that if I paid out of pocket it would have been considered a wellness visit and only cost $68 per visit ... which I would have done had I known that was an option... on top of that most of my time was spent with students and they charged me $35 for 'therapeutic exercise' which was a student telling me what exercises to do and then walking away... I'm hoping my lawyer will be able to fix this overcharge!
