First time patron. Won't be the last time. Right across the street from the laundromat, so we sauntered in for some steamers and beverages. Both were great. Was mid-afternoon, so can't comment on when things get rolling, but beautiful bar, great views. Made for a very enjoyable afternoon. Will be back for full menu.
Great dinner with friends. All that we ordered was cooked just right and was delicious. We had the fried clam strips dinner, fried shrimp dinner, the steak sub, fried whole belly clams, and the special lobster ravioli in lobster cream sauce. Could recommend any of them. Only disappointed in the prices which have gone steadily up over the years.
Ive heard it said that you know what a restaurant's kitchen looks like by its bathroom ..their Bathrooms are disgusting!
Was a quiet place amenable to adult bar conversation, often very loud when the young crowd overflows inward. Food very good, dining area very busy but cordial at dinner hours, and on a nice day the deck is awesome. Bands all good, all ages styles in general. My favorite stop, plus the Elks.
I love seafood!!! I've tried nearly all of them in the greater New Haven area, & my favorite is still Lenny's! Always have a great time here with great service, awesome food, & a nice ambiance, yet sometimes crowded.
On the bright side, my wife's broiled scallops we're very good, our waitress was very pleasant and helpful...also good vegetables......not worth the price if you ask me....
Went to a competitor nearby tonight. Just gave 2 stars.
I'm pretty picky!.. but Lenny's remains one of my all time faves.
I got a baked stuffed lobster that was long on stuffing, and almost no seafood in the stuffing, and overcooked...you know it's overcooked when all the meat is dried up and stuck to the inside of the shell!
